Jessica Jennings, MS is a yoga lifestyle educator, speaker, writer and teacher trainer. In 2009 she founded Ma Yoga® for Pregnancy, Motherhood & Beyond: a prenatal yoga school and teacher tribe that provides guidance, inspiration, and support for pregnant women and new moms.

A prenatal yoga teacher since 2001, Jessica has seen first hand that with just a little support and guidance, we can change the challenges of this time into opportunities to become our highest, or "Ma" Self.

For her Masters in Kinesiology thesis, Jessica developed and ran a group visit and prenatal yoga program in the Ob/Gyn Department at Kaiser Hospital. After six years of seeing how beautifully east and west complemented each other to provide education as well as a shared, empowering experience, Jessica decided to help create “Mama Circles” in every village in the world.

After coaching teachers to start over 10 locations in Southern California and having over 8000 women come through their classes, the requests were coming from across the country and the world for prenatal yoga. Ma Yoga teachers realized there were so many women who didn’t have access to these classes, or couldn’t afford them – and thus, Ma Yoga Living was born.

Jessica and the Ma Yoga teacher tribe now provides an online Ma Yoga Pregnancy Program that supports women through every step of the journey to motherhood and beyond. Certified Ma Yoga® yoga teachers, doulas, midwives, nutritionists, OB/Gyns, pediatricians, coaches and of course lots of moms and moms-to-be are part of a members-only, nurturing community.

I work with doula’s, midwives and obstetricians to support these Mamas and to be part of the work to impact the Black maternal death rate in this country.

Through our Mama’s Well offerings, we provide holistic services to women dealing with infertility, pregnant women and women who are postpartum. Offerings include holistic fertility doula services, yoga, Thai foot massage, reiki and mediation.

I also have over 20 years of pharmacy experience in long-term care, hospice and palliative care, and community practice involving clinical work, operations and regulatory compliance. I have demonstrated experience of effective management and leadership; managing budgets and reducing costs; improving performance of operational teams; establishing, implementing and adhering to policies and procedures; building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders; and providing excellent patient care and customer service.
